SB 2103, the "Surge" infrastructure funding bill was amended by the Senate Appropriations this morning and given a unanimous Do Pass recommendation. Amendments did not alter county funding, but added $300 million for western state highways. Language was added that county road funds must be used to construct or reconstruct to 105, 5000.
The alternative "Jumpstart" bill is being held in the committee for the time being.
The "Surge" bill is expected to be on the Senate floor next week.
